Most reporting tells you what already happened. Our work is built to look ahead. Our assessments close with a clear judgment about the coming week, how confident we are in it, and what would change that view. They are written in plain language, for people who have to make decisions and act on them.
Who we are
CIMA Risk is led by former U.S. federal agents with careers of more than two decades in criminal and financial investigation. Since 2014 we have worked in Colombia alongside Colombian police, immigration, military and intelligence agencies, as well as non-governmental organizations. Our focus is Colombia alone, not the whole world: we work in Spanish, from Colombian sources.

How we work
We use a modern collection and analysis stack, including predictive analytics, to watch a wide field across Colombia and surface what matters. The judgment is human: our analysts make the forecasts. Primary sources in Spanish, checked against our network on the ground before they reach the client. Each assessment states its level of confidence. We record our forecasts and score them against what happened. Our work is built on the ISO 31030 guidance.
